Expedited freight when the clock decides

Expedited freight is what you buy when being late costs more than the shipment. A line that has stopped, a shipment that another carrier failed to pick up, a delivery window that cannot move. The job is to get a truck under the load quickly and then keep it moving — direct, without the stops that normal hours-of-service planning would otherwise require.

How a load runs

  1. 01

    Call, do not email

Dispatch is on duty around the clock. On an expedited load the first ten minutes are worth more than a formal quote.

  2. 02

    Nearest capacity, not cheapest

We move the truck that can actually be under the load soonest and tell you the realistic pickup time.

  3. 03

    Team drivers where it helps

On long runs a second driver keeps the truck moving through the hours a single driver would have to rest.

  4. 04

    Tracked to the door

Position and ETA visible the whole way, with the receiver kept informed if that is what the delivery needs.

Questions we get asked

How quickly can a truck be under the load?

It depends entirely on where the freight is. What we will not do is quote a pickup time we cannot hold — on an expedited load a wrong promise is worse than a slower honest one.

Is expedited much more expensive?

It costs more than a planned load, because the truck is repositioned and often run with a team. Against a stopped production line or a missed delivery window, it is usually the cheaper of the two numbers.

Can you recover a load another carrier dropped?

Yes, and it is a common reason people call. Give us the location, the paperwork and the deadline and we will tell you straight away whether it is still achievable.
